Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DevPOS ("the Service"), cloud-based point-of-sale and business management software provided by Sardar Toheed ("we", "us", "our"), Multan, Pakistan.

By creating a DevPOS account you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What DevPOS is

DevPOS is a subscription-based web application for 78 business types in Pakistan — from retail shops and pharmacies to restaurants, workshops and distributors. Each subscriber receives an isolated tenant workspace at devpos.pro/<your-business-name> with billing/POS, inventory, customers, suppliers, purchases, expenses, reports and business-specific modules, in English and Urdu.

The Service includes WhatsApp receipts, 80mm thermal and A4/A5 printing, and guided product tours. Features may be improved over time; we will not remove core functionality you rely on without reasonable notice.

3. Free trial

Every new workspace starts with a 15-day free trial with full features and no credit card. One trial per business.

When the trial ends, your workspace becomes restricted (view-only): dashboard, reports and history stay visible, but new sales, purchases, orders and settings changes are blocked until you subscribe. Your data is never deleted or held hostage. Renew anytime to continue exactly where you left off.

4. Plans and pricing

Your plan tier is set automatically by the business type you choose at signup:

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and exclusive of any applicable taxes. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice; any period you have already paid for is unaffected.

5. Billing and payments

A subscription period starts when your payment is approved and activated. We accept:

Card payments (via Stripe) — activated instantly. Manual payments — JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer: pay to the receiving details shown inside your workspace, submit your proof (receipt screenshot and transaction ID / TID), and our team approves it — normally within one business day — after which your subscription activates or extends.

If payment is not received by the expiry date, your workspace becomes restricted (view-only) as described in section 3. Invoices and payment receipts are available inside your workspace.

6. Your account responsibilities

You are the account owner and are responsible for everything done under your login. Keep your password secret and never share it outside your staff. You are responsible for the actions of staff members you add to your workspace.

You must provide accurate business information and keep your phone number and email current so we can reach you about billing and security. One workspace per business, unless we approve otherwise.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful (including fraud, money laundering or tax evasion); attempt to access another tenant's data or interfere with the Service; abuse, copy or reverse-engineer the platform beyond normal use; spam customers via WhatsApp, SMS or email; or store content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of others.

We may suspend or restrict a workspace that breaches this section — with warning first, except for serious or illegal violations.

8. Service availability

We work to keep DevPOS available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced where possible. We are not responsible for downtime caused by third parties such as hosting, internet or payment providers.

9. Your data

Your business data is yours. It is stored under your isolated tenant and is never visible to other tenants. Passwords are hashed and billing secrets encrypted at rest; we take regular backups.

You may request an export of your data at any time, and request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or business interruption.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of records that are critical to your business (tax filings, legal documents).

11. Termination

You may cancel anytime — your subscription runs to the end of the paid period; paid periods are not refunded (see our Refund Policy). We may suspend or terminate for material breach or non-payment, with notice.

After termination you keep view-only access for 60 days to export your data; you may request full deletion at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced by email and in your workspace at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Multan, Punjab.
